Location: The Forks - Downtown Winnipeg.
Depart Time: 10:00 am - Flotilla leaves for Kildonan Park.
Canoeists are welcome to join the flotilla on the river at any point.
Destination: Kildonan Park - Canoeing time aprox. 2 1/2 hours.
Picnic Time: 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm at Kildonan Park
Details: The flotilla will leave from downtown Winnipeg at The Forks and paddle downstream to Kildonan Park for an afternoon picnic and informal get-together.
Checklist: A Canadian flag for your canoe, life jackets, paddles, bailing can, throw rope, whistle, sunscreen, picnic food and drinks, folding chairs, and arrange for drop-off and pick-up of your canoe at Kildonan Park.

Event Details: Departing from Redwood Docks, The M.S. Paddlewheel Queen will head south for a scenic trip along the Red River to the Forks, north to Kildonan Park, and then return to Redwood Docks. There is plenty of available on-site parking. This event will be an informal get together of family, friends, and fellow adventurers. We look forward to spending an enjoyable afternoon with good friends, sharing stories, and celebrating Don's life.
