Currently two separate film projects are underway. The first project involves the recent optioning of the book Paddle to the Amazon by Insight Production Co.. Insight's goal is to produce a motion picture about the Starkell's two-year adventure. The second project is a documentary being produced by Chris Forde at Split Rock Productions. The documentary will cover events from past to present and include footage from Dana and his father's recent canoe trip from Davenport, Iowa to Key West, Florida. Stay tuned for latest developments!
